I am a practicing vet and have found this the best diet on the market for dogs that have difficulty maintaining weight and is extremely palatable. I initially tried it for my working spaniel as she was constantly underweight despite eating all she could manage of other working dog foods, later that year a neighbour and client had a husky that had been badly affected by lungworm, lost huge amounts of weight and all appetite. The owner had tried everything including fresh chicken steak gravy and the dog just had no interest. I brought a bag of Sophies food to her house on a whim and offered her a piece and to this day I'v never seen such a sudden change, she practically couldn't wait to have the full bag and within 2 weeks was a completely changed dog, her dull starry coat was thick and lush again, her personality was so much happier and confident and her weight went back to a normal level. I cannot praise the quality of this product enough and recommend skinners products to all my friends, both very high nutritional quality and affordable price, beats the socks of a lot more expensive brands out there! :)

My working dog looses weight with any other "Working Dog" product, with a small appetite for food & a large one for life its been very difficult to keep weight on.
