This product was recommended by our vet to address our cat's tendency to regurgitate his food several times a week. We have tried every other sensitive stomach food on the market. The main issue we have with this is that the quantity of food we are meant to give our cat for his weight is minuscule. It is literally half a cup a day maximum. In case that suggests it is extraordinarily rich relative to quantity size I can assure you it's not. Our cat - who is average weight for his breed, and not an especially voracious eater - consumes this quantity before lunchtime. We've had to top it up with boiled chicken just to get him through the day.
My 7 year old cat Opium suddenly started over-grooming and biting at her paws, and seemed to be in pain about an hour after eating, I changed her diet to Royal Canin Hypoallergenic and Royal Canin Sensitivity Control and freshly cooked chicken breast. Amazing results - no more pain and no more itching, a very happy satisfied fussy cat.
I bought this to try with my 11 year old cat who appears to have developed sudden allergies overnight to several things including her food. I had read lots of positive reviews on other websites about this food, so I went ahead & bought it. At first my cat tolerated it mixed with wet food, but after a week, she refuses to eat it at all. I'm left with a huge bag (the smallest available is 2.5KG on here) of expensive food that is of no use now opened. I wish companies would sell trial sized small packets of this type of food, esp for cats who are notoriously fussy to avoid a waste of money.
