Used this on my cats who both have allergies to fleas, it worked fantastically

This seemed to work well on our cat, no sign of any fleas once the product was on her. Have ordered again because its a good price.

I used Effipro for over a year with no problems but recently it seems to have stopped working, I am now going to try Vet UK's own brand as Frontline doesn't work either.
I previously used Frontline and thought I try Effipro as it is cheaper.I used Effipro for a few months now and I'm not very happy with the product as my cats have fleas now and with Frontline they didn't so I guess I will have to go back to it and pay the extra. Its a shame and maybe the product will be improved and I might try it again.

After reading how fleas were getting immune to frontline chose Effipro, what a mistake after 2 applications only 2 weeks apart they still have fleas. I have never had fleas before in 30 years of cat breeding, I certainly won't be endorsing this product to new owners.

I do not understand why there are so many who say that Effipro is effective I have used Advantage for many years, but the last times it was not effective on a couple of my cats (I have 4). Therefore, I thought I would try a different brand and, after seeing all the good reviews I chose this. My cats had fortunately only a few fleas. They were each given it at Monday but today Friday they still have fleas So I am very disappointed with the product I have actually subsequently come to mind that I tried it last year - I had forgotten that - And it did not work at that time either So, a waste of money I think, I might go back to Advantage again and hope it will be better just as before.
I switched to effipro last summer when Frontline stopped working. I have been very pleased with the effect and the price. I had a small outbreak 2 weeks ago (hot hot weather) so used it a week earlier than the recommended 4 week interval, also washed his bedding daily and hoovered house on consectutive days during treatment window (week) and 'nit' combed him daily (he was fine until I tried his belly fur and tail) it has worked and 4 days on I only found dead fleas on combing and he has stopped scratching. So going to stick with this but may try 'advantage' next year as a rotation idea (they do the same with head lice teatments for children). As my cat is out and in all year round I likewise keep flea treatment every month regardless of season. When he has his annual check-up in the spring the vet has never found evidence of infestation so all good.

A good product - does what it says and keeps fleas and ticks to a minimum. Especially good for ticks, which our cats normally get covered in by May/June, but since using Effipro they haven't had a single one yet.

Used this for the first time four weeks ago, very effective, I tend rotate the treatments I use as I find this to be the best method of eliminating fleas, together with a good household spray to take up any stragglers I am very impressed
Turned to Effipro after I found Frontline was being ineffective, dead fleas are falling off within 24hrs now, fab stuff and a fraction of Frontline price !!!
Brilliant product - I have tried Bob Martins, flea collars and other 'treatments' but this one works well and is a good price. I have 2 small cats, during autumn I only have to treat one cat as they snuggle up together and it's strong enough for both, during the winter I don't use any at all. In the summer when the fleas hit with vengence I treat them both and I never get any problems - 100% recommended.

Have to say that this has been the simplest to use and most effective treatment I've been able to buy online. To the critics, of course if their bedding or the house is still infected, they will return. Everywhere the cat settles, needs to be flea-free.
I used this on my new kitten who was riddled with fleas, bless him. Within 24 hours all of the fleas that I'd seen running through his fur had died and were combed out with a flea comb. A following day the vet verified that he was flea free. Excellent product!

Living in Greece, flea and tick treatment for cats is absolutely vital. I have been adopted by three semi-feral cats, one of whom thinks he is a domestic cat so very easy to handle but the other two are slightly wilder and can only be stroked and sometimes picked up. It is amazing, therefore, that I can apply Effipro to all three of them when they are eating and they don't even notice, let alone run away. I have memories of my two domestic cats back in the UK, when using another product, who seemed to be able to smell it before you even broke the capsule open and had to be wrapped in towels to be dosed - all very stressful for them and for me! So to have this product available and so easy to use is a real bonus, I wish I had found it when I was living in the UK. I bought a bulk order for the cats out here and thought it would be a good idea to use two different products - wrong - the second product is (a) not nearly as effective against ticks and (b) the cats were very unhappy when it was applied. I am now ordering more Effipro and will scrap the Bob Martin pipettes. I can't recommend Effipro strongly enough.
I too have always used Frontline, I will not be going back to it after using this. I have found that it lasts just that little bit longer too. Can not fault it and have recommended it everyone I know that has pets. Fantastic product.
I have always bought frontline and having 6 cats it was costing me a fortune. Effipro is the same product just much cheaper. I notice people have said that the pipettes are not as easy to open however I find them to be fine and like the fact that they are clear so you can easily see that all the product is on the cat.

Great price, for an effective product. I will buy again when I need more. Just remember that you will sometimes need to use an indoor flea spray also as this product only kills the flea and does not affect the immature fleas in the house.
While the product is good, the application method is poor to say the least. It's extremely messy, and since the pipettes aren't transparent, there's no way of knowing if you used it all. After the last time I applied the product to my cat, and I got covered in flea medication in stead of my cat, I decided to abandon Effipro for good!
Brilliant product & excellent value for money. Had been using frontline for years but it stopped being effective so changed to Effipro & not had any fleas since. I do have to cut the pipete open as it doesn't always break but other than that no problems with it.

Fabulous product, always used to use Frontline but this is just as effective but cheaper and easier to apply.

I find Effipro really good and a much cheaper product than Frontline. It works exactly the same. Unlike above reviews I find it easy to apply and don't need to repeat doses until every 6 weeks. Having said that my cats are only allowed in the garden which is penned in via the fencing system. But, there is still contact with our dog who often goes out walking and no doubt picks a flea or two up, and brings home, he too is treated with Effipro. I've had no infestations in the home, no constant scratching on the animals and certainly nothing ever seen on the cats. Its the best thing since sliced bread for fleas elimination.

Seems to work ok. Have had trouble actually breaking the seal on pipette. Breaks along dotted line but has a plastic bit between layers which doesn't seem to come apart, also the little hollow channel that the liquid comes out of doe not seem big enough. You cant see that you have applied ALL the contents as unlike Frontline the pipette is not see-through.
good product cheaper than frontline doesn't last quite as long cats need to be done 5 weekly at the most where as frontline will last 6 weeks
