January 2020 my cat was seriously ill with renal failure and other problems. Thanks to my vet she recovered. Since then she has been on Pronefra and has been doing well on it. Today I rang my vet for a repeat prescription, but they had no Pronefra (180ml) available and advised me to go on line and buy it. I am amazed at how much cheaper it is to buy it online and wish I had done it earlier.
I started using Ipakitin for my old cat, who was diagnosed with stage 3 renal disease about 4 years ago. A couple of years ago I tried vetuk's own powder and bought one of these at the same time. Both were good but the pronefra seemed excellent so decided to stick to that. The vets were surprised that, so long after her diagnosis, she still wasn't losing protein when she last had a test about 6 months ago. I very sadly eventually lost her last week but at the ripe old age of 22 and I'm convinced that this helped her live with renal disease so well for as long as she did, I highly recommend it.
We previously used a tablet form of phosphate binder for our cat. He wasn't very fond of it, and anyway, it was de-listed. The vet recommended Pronefra which was a big improvement, and after a few months of buying directly we found this site and saved a lot, over 50%. And of course, it, proverbially, tastes like chicken
My cat loves the taste of Pronefra. I squirt it on her food and she licks it off. It's much cheaper than buying it from my vet. One issue worth mentioning is that the numbers rub off the syringe so you don't know the correct dosage. I stick black tape around it as a permanent marker.
