My 12 year old greyhound has a few aches and pains and is on Metacam. She used to have food which contained glucosamine etc but due to digestion problems, had to change it to something which doesn't have all those extras. So I pop one of these into her dinner, she eats it without noticing. I don't know if it really makes any difference to her joints but I like to think it at least helps a bit
