I purchased this for my 14 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for these hot days we've been having. Its been a big hit with him - he loves the large size as he can lie flat out with space to spare. When it arrived he initially sat on the mat and within 40 mins he was fast sleep on it. He continues to use it even on non sunny days :) I was so impressed that I thought I'd write this review as I had dithered for some time before I purchased it. The mat feels cool to the touch - the fabric is smooth with the gel inner giving some padding - and the mat doesn't slide on our hard floor.
